FOX's Performance Elite series shocks and coilovers are aluminum bodied, with a type 3 anodization that further prevents corrosion and wear against salt and harsh environments. The DSC function allows fine tuning of daily driven comfort and handling, while also allowing further optimization of high speed offroad use through the high speed compression adjuster.

Front Coilover Springs

Fox includes a 600lb x 3in ID x 14in spring on the Performance Elite Coilover. The old factory series used a 600x3inx13in spring, so a minor but imperceptible difference. A 650lb spring or 700lb spring is available as a heavy duty upgrade, whether to accommodate more front end weight, or top-mounted weight. A higher rated spring will ride firmer when unloaded, but can also be used to optimize high-speed offroad use since a heavier spring rate adds to compression-damping force.

Upper Control Arm Options

All available arms allow for more suspension articulation compared to stock arms on a lifted vehicle, and easier alignment, which is important when lifting the vehicle 3-3.5".

Rear Lift Options

There are many options to lift the rear of your Tacoma, with their own pros and cons. Traditionally we recommend a progressive add-a-leaf setup that both improves handling and height requirements with additional weight, without negatively affecting ride quality too much. Old Man Emu leaf packs come with the required Fitting Kit (FK29), Ubolts (OMEU53B), and Rear Spring Bushing Kit (OMESB108).
